My name is Ofra Jacob, I am a Biographical Counselor, a Coach, an Organizational Consultant, and an expert in Designing Learning Processes.
With the experience I gained from all of these – I founded the Biographical Code.
I have lived and dreamed stories since childhood. They are the arena I have always been drawn to.
People's lifestories fascinate me, each a unique mystery, an enigma which contains all the clues to its resolution. They are imprinted in the story itself just waiting to be revealed.
This love of stories and people I have transformed into more than my profession. This is who I am.
My story has taken me through intimate familiar paths of family, education, career, and the choices I made. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Education and Sociology and a master's degree in Sociology from Tel Aviv University. After studying coaching, Family Constellation and group facilitation, I completed a four-year course of Anthroposophical Biography Work.
Twenty-six years in the IDF's Behavioral Sciences division, linked me to my quest for a mission.
While living (and writing) the screenplay of my own life story, I managed to cope with the difficulties I encountered. Today I know that this script is always open to changes. Regular patterns that appear in our story indicate that we really cannot write the final version.
I know that my story is not an arbitrary collection of events but an amazingly methodical and consistent pattern. By walking the paths of my story, I have a better understanding of me.
By interpreting my story, I can live with a fuller and quieter sense of being.
Understanding the significance of my story was an important breakthrough that enabled me to shape my reality, my relationships, my career and especially – myself.
We can all find the beneficial path that best connects our own stories to form our lives.
I am here to escort and guide you on this path.
